I am in love with Benefit’s Lemon-Aid. I have used it for about two years now and I still have half the product left. Both my daughter and I have shared it so I find it to be an incredible value for the money. I don’t find it too thick or sticky as others have suggested, this might have something to do with where it’s stored. Mine is perfectly creamy and just glides on my lids without any effort at all. It is an eye brightener, not a shadow or colorant.

I have pretty much stopped wearing eyeshadow and use the Lemon-Aid almost exclusively. It leaves you with a very natural look and I find it to be an exceptional product.

This is a great product to use if you want something simple to make your eyes stand out. It doesn’t look yellow when you put it on, just makes your lids look brighter. I wear glasses and generally just want something to make my eyes pop a little – I have little patience for or skill with most eye products, so this one is great. Just a few pats on my lids and I’m ready to go. Also, the contrast makes lashes look darker even without mascara.

I have fairly light skin, with splotchy redness and yellow undertones and dark circles under my eyes. I tried on both Lemon Aid and Bo-ing Lite, and the Lemon Aid did a much better job of brightening up underneath my eyes than the Bo-ing Lite. It makes me look refreshed and bright-eyed. I only have to use the lightest touch of this for it to work, and it goes on very smoothly without creases or wrinkles developing, so it’s definitely worth the money.

    This product works.

It’s bright yellow! It will hide, minimize, and camoflouge those dark undereye circles for HOURS. It is a thick product, but goes on silky soft after you have blended it in.

For those ladies that complain that it drags your undereye area, learn how to use the product.

    1. Moisturize your eye area well. Use any specifically made undereye moisturizer (Eyecon also by benefit works well in conjunction with this product, for cheaper, hit up Walmart in a dazzling array of undereye moisturizers well within budget target.)

    2. If it’s too thick, or doesn’t spread, STICK IT IN YOUR POCKET. The body heat will warm up the product and make it apply smoother. You wouldn’t expect cold butter to spread, don’t expect your cream based eye makeup to either.

    3. Use a concealer brush, not just your fingers. The concealer brush helps as you can work it into the target area of the shadow without having to spread it all over the eye area. If you spread it all over, it gives you the “reverse raccoon” effect and doesn’t quite camoflouge.

    4. Set it! Set the concealer with a light powder or setting powder. I use Bare Escentuals products, so I just set it with my foundation, giving it a more natural look.

Best product yet, I’ll never go back to drugstore concealers again!

I literally don’t leave the house before putting Lemon-Aid on. The difference in the look of my eyes with no make up and just a little teensy bit of Lemon-Aid is astounding – well worth the minute it takes to apply!

Lemon-Aid covers all the dark and unevenness on my eyelids and leaves behind a nice bright glow. It doesn’t even look like there is any make up on at all.

This is also an amazing base for eye shadow. The shadow goes on smoother, in richer color and lasts nearly forever.

If I had to pick an item out of my make up drawer that I couldn’t live without, this would be it (with Benefit’s Eye Con running a very close second).
