The perfume is very subtle with a little hint of sweetness. It’s not overpowering or musky. Don’t try to sniff the bottle or a sample…it won’t do it justice. You have to try it on your skin to know how great it smells. I’ve had other designer frangrances, but this is by far my favorite and I’ve received a lot of compliments.

I was really surprised by this one. I’d seen all the hoopla surrounding Burberry’s other fragrance, Brit, and yet I found it too heavy. This one, however, is wonderful. It’s not too much of anything. It’s got a wonderful clean, modern scent that is very easy to wear year round and I’ve gotten lots of compliments. This is a good everyday scent that will allow you to smell wonderful without intruding upon others.

I first got a whiff of this from a magazine enclosure. It got me curious, as they rarely do. Passing Sephora, I went in for a test…and felt seduced by the classy charm of the scent. It seemed to have a rich sophistication which goes with horseback riding or polo. After a few days, I still couldn’t get the scent out of my head so I went back to grab it up. I’ve only had this experience with a few other fragrences…but they were of a totally different style…Angel by Thierry Mugler and Flower by Kenzo.

Burberry London is definitely a compliment-getter. It’s also versatile, as it can be worn in any weather and with any outfit. It has notes of peach, black currant, vanilla, and cedar.
Please do not judge this scent by only sniffing the nozzle or smelling a scent strip of paper. It smells NOTHING like it does on skin. Allow it to settle for 5 minutes, and if it works with your body chemistry, you’ll know right away.
) At first sprtiz, I get a peachy/cedar blast that quickly mellows into a gorgeous, clean, but warm scent. The vanilla isn’t sweet at all.. just warm and inviting. I have received a lot of compliments on this.
The lasting power is wonderful! By the end of the day, it can only be sniffed by anyone who gets close to you, but it has developed into a super soft, clean vanilla. Burberry London can be expensive, but there are lots of places where you can find great deals on it. The bottle is very sophisticated, simple, and classy.

After ordering, product arrived at my door within a week (half the estimated time) in great condition. Perfume smelled exactly how it was supposed to- proper scent percentage that you can rarely find when buying online- and was in original Burberry box/wrappings. I would definitely order here again in a heartbeat.
