I love this flat iron! It makes my hair silky and perfectly straight, and I can curl with it, which is kind of amazing to me. And when I curl my hair with it it stays curly forever- which never happens with the regular curling irons I use, or even hot rollers. And I definitely would buy it here on Amazon vs. the kiosks in the mall where they charge you $200! Oh and it gets hot quickly which is great in the mornings when I’m pressed for time getting ready for work. And I love that it’s pink. Overall, I love this product and highly recommend it!

I adore this flat iron. I’ve had it for over 6 months now and haven’t pulled my Chi out from underneath the sink one time since buying the Corioliss. My hair was so fried from using a Chi that I had to cut off 6 inches. The Corioliss is amazing! My hair isn’t dried out; it heats up in literally seconds; straightens fast and CURLS TOO!!! Big, gorgeous Hollywood-style curls. And your style will last for hours, straight or curly.

My hair is naturally curly and gets frizzy like a poodle. I haven’t had that problem at all while using the Corioliss. It was well worth the $130 I spent and it also comes with a 2-yr warranty (The Chi is only 1 year and is a pain to get assistance with).

I’ve put 2 pictures in the product description of my hair both curled and also straightened with the Corioliss.

The biggest problem I have with this iron is that one cannot adjust the temperature/heat – it operates at just one setting. So after using it for a bit it gets too hot and one has to turn it off for a while. Also one needs to use some protective iron guard spray prior to use and some shine-inducing/anti-frizz products after use. In retrospect I would not have gotten this iron! However, do like the ease with which the chord doesn’t stiff up when turning this iron around. One reason I got this iron is that I can use it internationally and its dual voltage – haven’t had a problem with that.

Maybe I should have known that this was too good to be true. I pay $120 at the mall for the Corioliss two years ago. I needed a new iron so I looked online and found them selling for under $70. The iron I recently bought from Dead Sea doesn’t straighten my hair unless I pass through the section 7 times. And then it’s still not silky.

Luckily I still kept my old iron and I made a comparison of the to physical products. The original iron is a lighter pastel pink and the new iron is a hot pink color. Notice: the color of the iron on the webpage is the light color of my old iron. Also ID numbers and tags are either omitted or in completely different places. I am not saying that it’s a fake, BUT it straightens like a cheap drug store version and it looks pretty different from the one that I bought from the manufacturer. Caveat Emptor!!!

I can’t return it because I was one week over the 7 day return period. I guess I wasted $50. So I did research and bought a Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron for $94. It works perfectly.
