I’ve been using this system for about 3 months now. Here’s what I discovered about Dinair:

    PROS

-light on skin versus my previous routine of foundation, concealer and then powder

-saves 3-5 minutes putting make up on once you learn how to use it

*stays on for a long time without melting and less likely to smear off; I still look awesome when I get home after 6-7 hours out of the house

-requires less touching of your face; less irritation

-looks natural and not cakey which is awesome!

-made me more photogenic; I looked at some past pictures I took with friends and you can’t tell I have lots of acne and acne scarring underneath.

-there’s a lot of selection in colors

-they have the best customer support i have ever encountered. They also have online chat help and they have helped me more than once. This is one of the reason I keep buying from [...]–they take care of their customers!

    CONS

-if you mix the colors, it WILL melt, it will break down and it will look more horrible than if you were wearing regular smearable foundation because you cannot smudge this foundation well enough to fix it. I’ve tried using different combination of colors and even buying new ones just in case the old ones just went bad but every time I mix colors, I get a really bad result.

-the paramedical kit did not work with my skin well; it made my wrinkles appear more than usual even with light application. I had to keep washing my face, drying it, and then trying again to get it right but finally gave up. I think the paramedical one is best for a young wrinkle-free face but with lots of scarring to cover. It will definitely hide imperfections–just not wrinkles. The regular make up, which is cheaper, works much better for me (I’m 29 btw) but it will not cover heavy scarring or burn marks although it CAN cover some acne scarring.

-it’s expensive. The demo says you only need 3-4 drops of make up but that’s if you don’t have much to cover. For a regular face with imperfections, you would need about 10-13 drops for your face and neck. It uses about 1.5 of the largest bottle of foundation (I think it sells for $25). So that’s about $30/month just for foundation.

-if you don’t clean it very well or if you bend the needle even the slightest, it will shoot clumps of uneven make up on your face. Make sure you clean it and you take care of the needle well.

    Conclusion:

I would get this again for sure. It’s great for picture taking and it doesn’t make my face as oily or cakey as the other foundations. I use this almost everyday.
