This is the tinted moisturizer that I have been searching, searching, and searching for (while spending and wasting big bucks on ones that do not work). I am very fair (with neutral tone) and I love this yellow based product. It blends in like a dream, doesn’t emphasize fine lines, has a spf, isn’t too thick or too thin, is oil-free (a must for me), doesn’t make me look orange, and is lovely under any of my mineral powder foundations. I got a sample from Sephora and ordred it right away. Realized that I loved it so much that I bought another tube from Benefit and paid a high price to have it shipped in one day (but so much less than I have paid for other tinted moisturizers that were too dark, too sticky, too wrong). Love, Love, Love this product!!!! My search is finally over- YAY!

This tinted moisturizer goes on smoothly and blends well for even coverage. It isn’t at all streaky or sticky like some of the others I’ve tried, but I have two criticisms: 1) Although it doesn’t feel greasy, when first applied it leaves your skin with that “I’m wearing suntan lotion” shine. 2)It does not stay put in very hot or humid weather, as it isn’t water-resistant and comes off when you sweat. I would still highly recommend this product for every-day coverage.

I have tried foundations, tinted moisturizers, etc..well, I’ve spent big bucks trying many brands..so I decided to give it a try when it first came out at Sephora. IT IS GREAT! The color is perfect for fair skin women, and it blends very well. It is very light and has a great coverage. I use it along with the Boing concealer from benefit and it is a perfect combination. It doesn’t accentuate fine lines and looks very natural, and the best is that you get your color and protection, too in one step. I already finished my first tube and just started the second one. I use it daily and it lasts, so it is worth the price!! Great product from Benefit Cosmetics!

I haven’t used many tinted moisturizers, but I am very impressed with this one! I love how it goes on, very light, yet it evens out my skin tone and even seems to reduce the appearance of my large pores somewhat. The yellow tint works great on my fair skin, and I feel like my skin looks luminous. I tried the Perricone tinted moisturizer and didn’t like it as well. I do use concealer in my under-eye area, and I apply a compact powder over the moisturizer for a matte finish. Very easy to apply, easy to wear! I will be purchasing this product.

If you want FULL coverage this is not the product for you. But the exception is using a good concealer underneath this tinted moisturizer. I first bought the original You Rebel in the red tube with was just way too dark on my light-medium complexion and masky in the winter months. You gotta love the SPF sun coverage, that is good for your skin. I like the coverage of this product and happy that Benefit FINALLY came out with a lighter shade since the red tube was more for those with medium to dark medium skin tones. I am sure though that in the Spring and Summer months I will need the shade to be slightly darker so I am prepared to mix a tad bit of the red tube original with this lighter version to get that perfect color to match my skin tone. If I do not I may look to ghostly or white and masky looking. I have not had an issue with breakouts because I wash in the morning, wash when the day is over (not necessarily waiting until bedtime or late night since it prolongs the makeup sitting on your skin) and NEVER go to bed with my makeup on my face. Four stars for being too light for Summer and being forced to own a red tube of this product for the Summer. Happy this is now available.
