I have always been very sensitive to chemical smells, particularly perfumes. I don’t care for so-called “floral” scents and just getting a whiff of most perfumes is enough to get me stuffed up sometimes culminating in a sinus infection. Some perfumes, however, have a crisp, clean, almost citrus like odiferous quality that is so close to nature, it not only doesn’t bug me, I really like it.
Jean Nate has been around forever. I got a small bottle of Jean Nate as part of a birthday present when I was 5. I reluctantly took a whiff of the open bottle and was truly surprised how much I enjoyed it. The after bath splash has an alcohol like quality in that it’s cool and evaporates quickly – so it never stains your clothing.
Just the tiniest dab is enough to rub all over after a shower to have the most subtle of natural citrus smells. The scent isn’t quite like a lemony scent – it’s hard to describe – but it is subtle, pleasant and clean smelling.
I hadn’t seen Jean Nate in years until very recently when I got my hands on this 30 ounce bottle. Considering how little I use each day, I can probably pass this bottle down to my grandkids – the splash will probably go bad before I use it all… a little bit goes a lonnnnng way.

I’ve used Jean Nate Hydrating Body Lotion every day for 15+ Years. I love it’s light citrus scent and if you like compliments, you’ll love it too. There’s no product on the market that can equal it’s ability to give you what you want—Silky Soft Skin. I live in a semi-arid state where skin dries out rapidly. Thanks to Jean Nate, I do not have this problem.

I have used Jean Nate’ Body Lotion for years. I use this after I take a shower. It is has a clean smell,very refreshing and also helps with dry skin. If I get an itchy spot on my legs or back, I will put some of this on and it will take it away. I recommend this to every woman. Looked for it everywhere but could only find it here. I read that they changed the formula but this is the origional scent, you will not be disappointed. It doesn’t cost near what it did 20 years ago BUT BEWARE THE SHIPPING MORE THAN DOUBLES THE PRICE.

Have used Jean Nate for many years. Was happy to find it at good price on Amazon. What a terrible disappointment! Revlon has obviously changed the formula and it stinks! Smells like a combination of musk and urine. It would be helpful to warn potential customers of the formula change.
